All of the recipes I’ve included are plant based. Eating this way is the most effective way to maximize your nutrient and enzyme intake. It’s not an all or nothing though. If you want a little-cooked food or even a little organic meat, have some. Just make sure you have loads of plant-based food too.

I believe that the individuals relationship with food is a constantly evolving dance what you eat will be based on what you need and what you need will become more and more obvious to you as you learn to listen to your body.The key is to be able to tune into what works for your body and just as importantly what doesn’t. To some extent, these recipes reflect my spot on my journey. I need to include as much plant based protein as I possibly can. I want to heal my gut with probiotics, enzyme-rich food and as many anti-inflammatory agents as I possibly can. I am trying to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet but I haven’t completely kicked the habit. If you are further down the path feel free to leave out the honey, coconut palm sugar etc.

Inflammation is generally prevalent with most chronic conditions and as the recipes are for the most part, anti-inflammatory they are also of general application.

Roughly speaking recipe amounts provide for one serving.
